Wedding Shoe Inspiration
Today on the blog we’re sharing one of our favorite detail items to photograph–wedding shoes! This post is packed with wedding shoe inspiration, everything from the traditional white to shoes with a bold pop. It is your wedding day, so be sure to pick something you love (and that is comfortable). Oh, and be sure to have a backup pair for dancing the night away.
So before you head out shopping for your wedding shoes, get your Pinterest board ready and read this post!
Want something that is truly all your own? Be like our bride Claire who had custom soles painted on her shoes to represent her favorite place and movie! These shoes are straight out of a Disney fairytale. It is safe to say we are obsessed with them and we think you will be too!
If you want something stylish, comfortable and that you will definitely wear again wedges are your go-to. We love the look of these blush wedges and how they have just enough hight to give you a little boost.
If there is one classic go-to shoe for weddings, it is the classic white. These shoes just scream bridal and look so elegant on. If you are going this route, don’t shy away from the sparkle–wedding shoes can always use a little sparkle.
If you don’t want to add height and want something comfortable, flats are the way to go. I love these converse and how they have the added wedding date on them! Little touches like that go a long way.
Personally, I don’t think there is any way you can go wrong with a gold wedding shoe. Of course, I am partial seeing as my own wedding shoes were gold. These gold pumps with extra sparkle make for the perfect pop.
Our bride Tera completely embraced the vintage look for her wedding. She got married by a victorian house and had so many vintage touches that the romance was off the chart. One of those touches, these vintage robbins egg blue shoes, from the very affordable ModCloth BTW! These shoes really helped tie the entire day together in terms of theme and I for one loved it!
My mom has an obsession with colorful wedding shoes. She wanted me to wear red shoes so badly, even though none of my colors were red! She just loves the idea of a pop of color–and we do too! So don’t be afraid to go for the bold pick.
You didn’t think we would leave our grooms out did you?? We have you covered with fun shoe and sock inspiration that will even have your groom excited to suit up on the wedding day.
We personally love the customized sock option. They are a fun way to show some personality–Greg wore Doctor Who shoes on our wedding day!
