Bridal beauty tips for every bride
We all want to look great on our wedding day! It is a day when all eyes are on you and your husband, so we completely get wanting to get the best out of your look. So we’re going to share some of our best bridal beauty tips for a great wedding day look.
You definitely want to look like you on your wedding day, but adding a little more makeup than normal, or going a little darker in the eyes is not something to be afraid of. Typically when you go a little darker, the makeup will pop better on camera.
If you are getting your makeup professionally done, it is always a great idea to have a trial run with your MUA. A trial run will ensure the style looks good on you and is what you want for your wedding day. If you are planning on doing your own makeup, make sure to practice a few times leading up to the big day, using the exact same stuff for a wedding day. Sephora, MAC, and Ulta all give makeup lessons that are super helpful for learning what goes best with what and finding new products to use!
We know that when a wedding comes around, you have a million things on your plate. So skincare can fall to the wayside. But to help with a flawless wedding day look, make sure to keep up with a good skincare routine. Wash your face, use a facemask, and keep your moisturizer game in check.
I know that most makeup artists recommend false eyelashes, but if they are not for you, don’t feel forced to use them. I know they make your eyelashes look amazing, but if you cry a lot that can take the adhesive right off. Also, they can irritate some people’s eyes (like mine). I skipped them and didn’t regret it at all.
This one is pretty self-explanatory. I ADORE It Cosmetics brand!!
If you don’t feel comfortable doing your own hair and makeup, definitely look into using a professional! Not only do they know what they are doing, but getting pampered is a great way to start off your wedding day. If you feel confident with your makeup, but not so much with your hair, you can hire stylest individually! Some of our FAVORITE wedding looks have been brides who have done their own makeup but had someone do their hair. So don’t feel like you have to do a package deal.
