When Greg and I first met Nikki and Jordan I don’t even remember talking about wedding photography. I do remember talking all things corgis, hiking, Disney, and type-A vacation planning tendencies. It was crazy to find two people so much like us! As I walked towards the car I was telling Greg how I hopped they book me because I just want the chance to hang out with them some more! Thankfully they did and we got to spend two hours together exploring MT. Falcon with their adorable puppies and talking all about our upcoming travels.
As I write this post, it is a blistering SIXTEEN degrees outside with a flurry of snow falling. But just four days ago when we photographed this session it was a warm 70 with the most beautiful golden light! We were so lucky to catch the last of the summer warmth for their session!!
Originally we had planned to meet at lost gulch in Boulder for their engagement photos; however, traffic from Nikki and Jordan’s place was not in our favor. After some quick google maps scouting and seeing what locations were available to us, we found Mt. Falcon. Lucky for us, this turned out to be an amazing change in plans because Mt. Falcon offered not only beautiful golden light but stunning mountain views as well.
The entire time with these two flew by and before I knew it we were heading back to the car and off to count down the days until their wedding! Mt. Falcon turned out to be the perfect change of plans and offered so many amazing views and beautiful trails that Greg and I can’t wait to come back for a real hike sometime soon!
