The Barn at Sunset Ranch Colorado Mountain Wedding

It was absolute bliss to be with Caitrin and Peter and celebrate their marriage. Caitrin is such a joy to be around, the type of person who you can’t help but be happy around because her joy is infectious. And Peter, he is equally as charming and kind-hearted. They are the type of people that others gravitate too, because of personalities. After getting to know Peter and Caitrin better during their engagement session I could not wait for their wedding so I could serve these two again!

Peter and Caitrin were married at the stunning Barn at Sunset Ranch in Buena Vista Colorado. And their wedding day was filled with nothing but beauty, charm, and excitement. There are so many beautiful moments I could talk about from their day. Like how relaxed Caitrin was, despite the all-day threat of rain and thunder. Or how Peter’s brother said “Caitrin, you may now kiss your husband!” instead of the other way around! How after NINE years of dating they were finally getting married!! Or just how amazing and helpful their wedding party was! How Caitrin’s dad gave this super sweet speech about the song they picked for the father-daughter dance.

However, while all of those moments we’re absolute special, our favorite part of their day was thanks to a quirky little Colorado law. See, in Colorado, you do not need to be married by someone who is ordained. So, rather than have just one person marry them. They had EVERYONE who was at their ceremony pronounce them husband and wife. I mean, how COOL is that!?!? How many people get to say they were married by 100 of their closest friends and family members?

Caitrin and Peter’s mountain wedding was absolutely beautiful, but the beauty of their wedding day pales in comparison to the beauty of their love.
