Little Corona Del Mar Beach // Newport Engagement
I used to cringe a little when a client would suggest the beach for their engagement session. To me, it was just so blah. The sand, water and wind were all things that just made shooting at the beach so ‘blah’. Then about a year ago, something changed and I started to truly appreciate the warm golden glow that our Southern California beaches offer. As I learned to control the unpredictable light, I truly started to appreciate the golden sands and blue water that the Pacific Ocean offers.
Since then, whenever a client suggests the beach for their engagement session—I get ecstatic. I love to explore the difference beaches that Southern California has to offer. From castles on the sand, golden tide pools and even caves to explore, some of our favorite spots for sessions are now these beaches.
So when Brittney and Andrew suggested Little Corona Del Mar for their engagement session, I was excited. Little Corona Del Mar offers some gorgeous tide pools, creating beautiful rock structures and this beach just truly glows a little more golden than any other. As if the setting was perfect enough, I had a great time getting to know these two. Not only did they get engaged at one of my favorite places ever (Yosemite). Brittney is also a huge Harry Potter fan—like loves it so much she named her adorable puppy Potter. Yeah—I’m basically smitten with these two.
