Mission San Juan Capistrano Wedding
Nicole & Mitch 10.08.16
As a wedding photographer, when you show up to start photographing a wedding and you arrive in a private estate with amazing natural light that overlooks the pacific ocean, you know you are in for an amazing day! The calming ocean breeze set the perfect vibe for their laid back celebration. Nicole was surrounded by her closes friends as they leisurely got ready for the big day ahead. They sipped on mimosas and talked about the excitement that was to ensue. Mitch got ready in an equally relaxed atmosphere surrounded by nerdy references and an all around good time.
Once our handsome groom and beautiful bride were ready we headed over to the Mission San Juan Capistrano for a full HOUR (yes you heard that right–hour) of couple portraits. We had such a great time with these two during their couple portraits, it was such a relaxed time and we really got the chance to explore without the rush or stress that normally comes with a wedding day. These two truly prioritized wedding portraits which showed!
After the mission, we headed to the Wedgwood San Clemente for a stunning sunset ceremony. Nicole and Mitch’s ceremony was a sweet and simple testament to there journey so far and the journey that laid ahead. They exchanged sweet vows and soaked in the moment. The night ended with a non-stop dance party where Greg and I could not stop smiling the whole time. From Mitch’s goofy personality to the dance moves their friends were showing off, we had a blast. The entire day passed almost as quickly as our own wedding day–a sure sign of an amazing party!
Greg and I are so honored to have captured the first day of their marriage. Not only are they amazing people, but they are also making huge sacrifices right away. Not only did they have to move up their wedding 6 months, but 7 months after they get married, Mitch will be deploying. We could not even begin to imagine how hard that must be, all we know is they are truly a super couple for doing it! Thank you Nicole & Mitch for letting us share in celebrating the joy or marriage.
